The International Friendship Bridge, The Iron Bridge, which is still used now, was started to be built in April 1937 and was completed in May 1943. It stretches over the Yalu River from Dandong to Sinuiju, which is 940.8 meters’ long totally. In October 1990, the Yalu River Bridge was renamed as “Bridge for the Friendship between China and Korea” by the agreement of the two countries.
