 Přerov is a town in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic where the Bečva river flows through. Přerov is a statute town (2006). Přerov is about 22 km south west of Olomouc. In the past it was a major crossroads in the heart of Moravia in the Czech Republic. The locality settlement dates back to primeval times. There is a world—renowned prehistoric site from the stone age on the mound called Hradisko in Přerov Předmostí. The oldest written reference to Přerov dates to 1133 when King Přemysl Otakar gave Přerov the privilege of being a royal town in 1256. The mansion of Přerov, built in place of the former castle, was a residence of an influential house, the house of Pernstejn and Žerotín, from which Charles the Elder of Žerotín significantly influenced the town. Přerov is called the city of Comenius and Blahoslav, the most significant personalities of the Unity of Brethren as well as of Bohemian culture in the 16th and 17th centuries. The cultural and social life of the city in the 19th century took up traditions of the past, above all, those of the Brethren time. Přerov ranked among the most advanced cities in Moravia and contributed to Czech national development. Introducing the railroad in 1841 brought Přerov rapid development of industries and agriculture, above all the machine industry, power-plant facilities, the hemp industry, brewing and sugar production. Later, the chemical industry as well as the production of leatherware and optical devices followed.

 Dačice is a town in the southwest Moravia, currently belonging to the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has cca 8,000 inhabitants. It is notable as the home of the sugar cube, which was invented there in 1843 by Jakub Kryštof Rad.

 Bouzov Castle (Czech: Hrad Bouzov) is an early 14th-century fortress first mentioned in 1317. It was built on a hill between the village of Hvozdek and the town of Bouzov, 21 km west of Litovel and 28 km northwest of Olomouc, in Moravia, Czech Republic. The castle has been used in a number of film productions lately, including Arabela, Fantaghirò, and Before the Fall.

 Rotštejn the ruins of the castle rock. It is located approximately 9 km east of Turnov, on the edge of nature reserve Klokocske rocks. The ruins are partly walled and partly vtesaná into blocks of sandstone rocks.

Krtek - Private

 The Mole (in the Czech original called Krtek, or Krteček (little mole); Slovak Krtko; German Der kleine Maulwurf; Hungarian Kisvakond; Polish Krecik; Finnish Myyrä) is an animated character in a series of cartoons, created by Czech animator Zdeněk Miler. It was first to be seen in 1956 in Prague, when Miler wanted to create a children's cartoon about how flax is processed. He wanted a strong Disney-influence to the cartoon by choosing an animal for the leading role, and decided to pick a mole after stumbling over a molehill during a walk. The first film called "Jak krtek ke kalhotkám přišel" ("How the mole got his pants") was released in 1956, and the cute main character won itself an enormous popularity in many Eastern European countries as well as Germany, Austria, India and China. Production for further episodes started in 1963 and since then, around 50 episodes have been created.

 Praděd (1,491.3 metres) is the highest mountain of Hrubý Jeseník mountains and Moravia and Czech Silesia and is fifth highest mountain of Czech Republic. The average annual temperature is about 1°C. A television transmitter is situated on the top, 162 m high. The upper platform is used as a watchtower. The mountain is also a popular area to ski.
