60. Norikuradake & Hodaka Mountains

Mount Norikura (乗鞍岳 Norikura-dake) 3,026 m is a potentially active volcano located on the borders of Gifu and Nagano prefectures in Japan. The mountain, whose name means "riding saddle," received its name because its shape looks like a horse saddle.
Mount Hotaka (穂高岳 Hotaka-dake), also known as Mount Hotakadake, reaching a height of 3,190 m. It is situated in Japan's Hida Mountains and all its major peaks besides Mount Maehotaka, lie on the border between the cities of Matsumoto, Nagano Prefecture, and Takayama, Gifu Prefecture.
